Awarded to a Saskatchewan high school student of French-Canadian heritage (must establish francophone status or French-Canadian heritage according to Section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which states anyone with a parent whose language and culture are or were French is considered Francophone for minority language education purposes). The student must have graduated during the previous year. Candidates must be registered in at least 12 credit hours of courses at the University of Regina for the September following their high school graduation, must opt for one of the courses of study listed below: Certificat en francais langue seconde, Baccalaureat es arts en etudes franco-canadiennes, Baccalaureat es arts (BA) ou Basccalaureat en education (BED) mention bilingue, Baccalaureat en Education Francaise (Programmes du Bac). Selection will be based on academic standing, contributions to school and/or community life, and extra-curricular skills and interests.

The book prize will be awarded to a University of Regina undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: Majoring in Philosophy and Classics. Student who has attained the highest grade in a Philosophy 200 level class in either the fall or winter semester. Student must be a full time student, enrolled in at least 9 credit hours in the semester in which the qualifying class was completed. Student must be registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours the semester the award is presented. Preference will be given to a mature student; mature student admission as defined by the University of Regina to an undergraduate program as follows: applicants who do not meet the standard admission requirements of the faculty to which they are applying, and who have completed fewer than 24 credit hours of approved post-secondary courses, are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and will be at least 21 years of age before the semester begins.

Awarded to a full-time second year student enrolled in any faculty at the University of Regina (except in the Department of Music) entering the third year of studies with a minimum CGPA of 80%. Computer purchase and/or internet hook-up for one year. This will allow students to work on school assignments, access job postings, research the company and apply electronically as required. Transportation to and from work for the first month of employment or until the first paycheque is received. Co-operative education fee for students who do not receive funding from Band or other funding agencies. Non-repayable emergency loans relating to employment readiness and placement.
