Applicant must be under 21 years of age, accepted at an accredited college or vocational training, and must not have personal assets greater than $10,000. Applicant must show progress toward a degree and be a U.S. citizen or qualified non-citizen.

 

North Carolina Hispanic College Fund Scholarship

Applicant must have graduated from a North Carolina High School within the past two years and have been accepted into an accredited two- or four-year college or university. A committed to public service and community development must be demonstrated. Preference is given to a full-time student applicant and a foreign-born, or a child of foreign-born parents, applicant.

Triangle Scholarship Program

Applicant must fit into one of the following categories and criteria: (a) graduating high school senior who: plans to enroll as freshmen at any of North Carolina's post-secondary educational or technical institutions and has a minimum 2.5 GPA; (b) a working single mother who: is actively working in the Research Triangle Area, has a high school diploma or a GED by June, and currently attends or plans to enroll at any of North Carolina's post-secondary educational or technical institutions; (c) a health care profession student who: has a high school diploma or a GED by June and currently attends or plans to enroll at any North Carolina community college to pursue a certificate, diploma or associate's degree in the health care professions.
