Awarded to undergraduate or graduate students based on academic standing and financial need. Applicant must be from the Wachovia service area.

 

Wahrman Furniture Design Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a furniture design major and be able to demonstrate financial need.

 

National Student Organization Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: None

Applicant must compete and place in a national culinary or baking and pastry arts competition sponsored by SkillsUSA, Family Career & Community Leaders of America, or ProStart.

 

SCAD-Lacoste Board of Trustees Travel Scholarship

Award: $900, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must attend SCAD-Lacoste and demonstrate financial need.

 

M.F.K. Fisher Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: October 15; December 15

Applicant must demonstrate an interest in food writing and submit an essay as an example of his/her work for entry dates in the winter or spring seasons.

 

Prix Heliographique

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must major in photography and participate in the off-campus program in France and/or Italy. Applicant must submit a portfolio.

 

Homeschool Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 22 ACT score (minimum 1050 SAT score) and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have spent at least two years in home education and be actively involved in their church and community. Leadership recommendation is required.

 

Parker Scholarship

Applicant must be an African-American student with financial need.

 

Board of Trustee's Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Alabama, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be the child of an alumnus and have a parent or guardian who is a life member of the Auburn Alumni Association.

 

Legacy Grant

Award: $2,200, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a parents or a sibling(s) who are alumni or are currently enrolled at the university.

 

Howell C. Smith Jr. and Sr. Adult Learner Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a high school senior who will be entering college for the first time in the fall after graduating the previous spring. Recipients will be required to complete 75 service hours in the APSU University Advancement Office during each semester of receiving the scholarship. Selection based upon composite ACT score, cumulative GPA, and other criteria.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and composite ACT score of 21. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and leadership ability through participation in extracurricular activities.

 

Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, composite ACT score of 23, and rank number one or two in their high school graduating class.

 

Ministry Grant

Award: $2,200, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and parents who are involved in vocational ministry (pastors, missionaries, Christian educators, etc.).

 

Howell C. Smith Jr. and Sr. Freshman Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, a combined SAT score of 980 (composite ACT score of 21), and demonstrate leadership ability.

 

Honors Program Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a combined SAT score of 1240 (composite ACT score of 28).

 

FIRST Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have participated on a FIRST team during high school and must have a minimum combined SAT score of 1000 (composite ACT score of 21).
