Applicant must have a minimum composite ACT score of 24 and either a minimum 3.3 GPA or rank in top quarter of class.

 

Out-of-State Grant

Award: $3,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be a resident of any state except Kansas. FAFSA is required.

 

Ellis and Hilda McCune Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a community college transfer student with the intent of teaching at the post-secondary level. Minimum 3.5 GPA and financial need required.

 

Sydney Noel Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have completed a minimum of 30 CSUEB units. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need required.

 

Athletic Performance Grant

Award: $12,000, Deadline: April 1 (priority)

Applicant must be offered an athletic performance grant contract by the head coach, be approved by the athletic director, participate in the sport, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be a full-time student. FAFSA is required. Eligible sports are cross-country, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis (men's and women's), and volleyball.

 

Baptist Speakers Tournament Scholarship

Award: $800, Deadline: April 1 (priority)

Applicant must be the winner or runner-up in a Baptist Youth Speakers Tournament, be a first-time, full-time student, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and submit school's financial aid form and FAFSA.

 

Guy Billington Memorial Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: April 1 (priority)

Applicant must have been a resident of a Baptist children's home, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, be enrolled full time, demonstrate financial need, and submit school's financial aid form and FAFSA.

 

Bill Himes Memorial Scholarship

Award: $800, Deadline: April 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a resident of the Ohio County (KY) area, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, be enrolled full time, demonstrate financial need, and submit school's financial aid form and FAFSA.

 

Paul Horner Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled full time, and submit school's financial aid form and FAFSA.

 

Francis and Ruth Moore Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: April 1 (priority)

Applicant must be active in a Kentucky Baptist church, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, be enrolled full time, demonstrate financial need, and submit special application, two letters of reference, school's financial aid form, and FAFSA.

 

Cornerstone Scholarship

Freshmen applicants must have a minimum 3.2 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 24 (equivalent SAT Reasoning score). Returning student applicants must have a minimum 3.2 GPA and have completed the most recent 27 hours at the College. Keystone Scholarship

Associate Degree Transfer Grant

Professional Churchwork Grant

Applicant must be enrolled full time, be a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, submit an application signed by pastor, and declare intent and commitment to enter full-time professional church work. Recipient must agree to accept official placement upon graduation.

 

Journalism Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1 (priority date)

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Selection is based upon demonstrated academic achievement and potential for a successful career in journalism. All journalism majors and minors of record are eligible and will automatically be considered.

 

Ministerial Grant

Applicant must be the dependent child of a full-time, ordained minister or missionary, be accepted for admission, and file FAFSA.

 

Army ROTC Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.9 GPA and be able to demonstrate strong leadership in school and community service involvement.

 

National Merit, National Achievement, and National Hispanic Scholarship

Applicant must be a National Achievement, National Hispanic Scholar, or a National Merit Scholar who has designated the university as his or her first choice with National Merit Scholarship Corp.

 

Russell Caldwell Neighborhood Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be nominated by their high school principal or college counselor and rank in the top of graduating class from one of the following Los Angeles high schools: Belmont, Crenshaw, Dorsey, Fremont, Huntington Park, Jefferson, Los Angeles, Manual Arts, Roosevelt. Priority is given to students majoring in the liberal arts.

 

Norman Topping Student Aid Fund Scholarship

Priority is given to applicants from the University Park, Los Angeles area. Recipient must contribute at least 20 hours of community service per semester.

 

SCions Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be the child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or sibling of alumni/ae. (In the case of siblings, the other sibling must have already graduated.) Freshman applicant must have a minimum 3.9 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1300 (composite ACT score of 29). Upperclass applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Interview is required.

 

Alumnae Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.9 GPA. Freshman applicants have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 29). Personal interview is required. Selection is based upon academic performance and leadership. Priority is given to California residents.

 

Town and Gown Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must demonstrate campus and community involvement. Freshman applicant must have a minimum 3.9 GPA and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1300 (composite ACT score of 29). Upperclass applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Personal interview is required; financial need is considered. Selection is based upon achievement.

 

Alumni Club Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.9 GPA, a minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1300 (composite ACT score of 29), and be able to demonstrate leadership ability. Interview is required.

 

Asian/Pacific-American Support Group Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, have a strong sense of ethnic identity or commitment to the Asian/Pacific-American community, and apply for institutional financial aid. Special application is required.

 

Mexican American Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: $4,500, Deadline: May 20

Applicant must be Hispanic. Selection is based upon academic achievement and eligibility for financial aid. Financial aid application, including FAFSA, is required.
