Applicant must be the child between the ages of 16 and 29 of a veteran who served in the U.S. armed forces and is permanently and totally disabled from war or armed conflict, a deceased veteran who died as a result of war or armed conflict, or is listed as a POW or MIA. Applicant's parent must be or have been a Virginia resident for at least five years at the time of entry into service or prior to date of death or application.
Award is for a maximum of 48 months and may be used at Virginia state-supported institutions only.
