Applicant must be a West Virginia resident who are or will be enrolled on a full-time basis in an accredited institution of higher education in West Virginia pursuing a course of study leading to a teacher certificate at the pre-school, middle, or secondary level in West Virginia.
Renewable if recipient maintains full-time status and a minimum 3.25 GPA for juniors and seniors, minimum 3.5 GPA for graduate students.
Recipient must agree to teach in West Virginia for two years for each year of the award or repay the award.
