Applicants must have a medically diagnosed physical or mental impairment that interferes with everyday activities or quality of life and can provide a physician's statement regarding their impairment. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Students must be a legal resident of the U.S. and enrolled full time for the upcoming fall semester. Applicants will need to submit a short essay describing an obstacle or hardship incurred due to their medical condition, how the student overcame that obstacle, how it influence the student's life and how it will impact them in the future. Selection is based on the essay.
