This program is designed to make sure that well-prepared high school graduates with financial need can go to college. Applicants must be Texas residents, be registered with Selective Service or be exempt, have a nine month EFC of no more than $5,088 and be enrolled at least three-quarter time. To apply, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). Eligibility for this program is determined by the college financial aid office. Applicants should contact the college financial aid office for additional information and availability of funds.
