Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program

Applicant must be a licensed physician graduate who is practicing direct patient care within the state of California.

Loan repayment program; repays up to $105,000 in government or commercial educational loans for expenses incurred for undergraduate education and graduate medical education.

Tuition, necessary fees, books, supplies, and educational commitment

Loan must be repaid if service commitment is not honored. Three-year service obligation practicing in direct patient care in a medically underserved area in California is required.
