Applicant must be a qualified South Carolina resident attending as a full-time student an eligible South Carolina Independent College who applies annually by submitting the FAFSA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need using the federal methodology. Award is for fall and spring semesters only (no summer school).
Renewable for up to four years if recipient passes 24 semester hours per year and meets college satisfactory academic progress requirements.
