Applicant must be a high school senior and eligible to attend a two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school with a complete course of study. Application and documentation are required to be submitted. Selection is based upon demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement. Eligibility requirements for specific awards: RMHC/ASIA: Applicant must have at least one parent of Asian-Pacific heritage. RMHC/Future Achievers: Applicant must have at least one parent of African-American or Black Caribbean heritage. RMHC/HACER: Applicant must have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. RMHC/Scholars: All students are eligible to apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Four individual scholarship programs: RMHC/Asia, RMHC/Future Achievers, RMHC/HACER, RMHC/Scholars. Maximum one scholarship per applicant.
Renewal is dependent on particular Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters who participate in the RMHC Scholarship program.
