Students must be from Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts or Eastern Connecticut. Preference given to immediate family of members of Rhode Island Builders' Association.

Distribution on a three-year rotation to R.I. School of Design for architecture programs, University of R.I. for civil or environmental engineering students, and New England Institute of Technology for building science technology students.
