Research Grant

Award is to carry out dissertation or post-doctoral research at libraries, archives, institutes, or laboratories in Germany for a period of one to ten months.

Monthly stipend is approximately 1,000 euros. In addition, DAAD will pay for health insurance and provide a flat rate subsidy for travel costs (US East: 775-850 euros/West: 1.000-1.075 euros; Canada East: 925 euros/West: 1.300 euros).
