Michigan Nursing Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident who is a Michigan resident for one year prior to the beginning of their nursing program enrollment. Applicant must be enrolled at least half time in a nursing program at an approved Michigan community college, public university or independent, degree-granting college or university. Scholarship must be repaid if the work requirement or other program provisions are not met.

Recipient must commit to work as a nurse in Michigan one year for each year of scholarship assistance to prevent the scholarship from becoming a loan that must be repaid.
