Applicants must be Illinois high school seniors or college sophomores at one of the 53 partner universities in Illinois who are interested in teaching. There are a limited number of spots for college sophomores, and all college students must be nominated by a university liaison. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Students must commit to teaching in an Illinois school of need for five years after graduation.
