Applicant must be a United States citizen, permanent resident, refugee or aslyee who is enrolled full-time. Freshmen applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA ("85" high school academic average) and 12 CPI units including at least two maths, two English, and two sciences. Current FAFSA must be filed, personal statement, and two letters of recommendation are required to be submitted.
Program will support low-income students for four years as they work to earn baccalaureate degrees.
Award is per semester for educational expenses.
Selected scholars who have completed all necessary remediation and have maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher maybe eligible for renewal which is dependent upon continuing financial need and funding.
