Applicant must be a Maryland resident, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and enroll as a full-time student with at least 15 credit hours per week, or if working at a child care or family day care center, enroll for at least six credits per semester, while working at a child care or family day care center no less than 15 hours per week.
Award is renewable if recipient maintains a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
Award must be repaid with interest if recipient does not work in a child care facility in Maryland for one year for each year of assistance received.
