Applicant must be an armed service member eligible for the Post September 11th GI Bill benefits who plans to pursue an undergraduate degree. Applicant must be a first-year or transfer student who has not yet enrolled in a college and will begin their first semester by October of 2011. Essay answering the following questions are required: "What is the biggest challenge you face in using your GI Benefits to get a degree? What can colleges and universities do to help you overcome this and encourage other armed service members to further their education?
Award is both funded by military/requires military commitment and is a scholarship.
