Applicant must be entering freshman year of undergraduate study in the fall majoring in atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. Selection is based upon academic excellence.
Stipend is $5,000, awarding $2,500 each year (for the freshman and sophomore years). Second-year funding is dependent on successful completion of the first year.
Renewable if recipient maintains good academic standing, full time enrollment, and continues to be enrolled in a program preparing for a degree in the atmospheric and related oceanic or hydrologic sciences.
