Applicant must be an employee or the dependent of an employee of Centerpoint Medical Center who will major in a health-related field.

Applicant must be a student who is pursuing a career in the health care industry with a desire to live and utilize their training in a rural setting. Minimum 2.0 GPA.

Applicant must have successfully completed their first semester of college with a minimum 2.5 GPA and will be continuing their education in the field of nursing, medicine, or related health care field at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. The applicant should have an interest in gerontology, oncology and/or hospice and palliative care and be able to express that interest in an essay.

Applicant must be a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior at Evergreen State College majoring in a healthcare-related field who meets one of the following criteria: first generation student, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, African American, a parent, age 24-26, high level of student loan indebtedness. Financial need must be demonstrated.
Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 3
Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Henderson County public high school who is a native of Henderson County. Applicant must be planning to pursue a career in a health related field (other than physician). Selection based on merit (minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1000). Extracurricular involvement and financial need are required.
