Talent Plus Scholarship

Dr. J. Donald Rowlatt Entrance Scholarship

Applicant must be a British Columbia secondary school student who has been granted admission to the Faculty of Business. Preference is given to an aboriginal student.

 

The James Alan Cox Scholarship for Student Photojournalists

Award: $2,500, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be a high school (sophomore or older with one semester remaining), college, or graduate school student. High school applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of one photography or related art class; college students must be enrolled in photography or journalism; graduate students must be enrolled in a journalism/photojournalism class. Photo or video that 'tells a story' must be submitted.

 

Scholar Athlete Program

Award: $1,100, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a high school student athlete who demonstrates excellence both on and off the field and in the classroom. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be nominated by a teacher, coach, faculty member, parent, or peer. From January to March, two high school seniors in the greater Seattle area will be chosen weekly as the Scholar Athlete of the Week and given a $100 scholarship to acknowledge their academic and athletic commitment. Two athletes will receive the $1,100 grand prize.

 

Deanna Lynn Potts Scholarship

Green and Gold Scholarship

Applicant must be a Colorado resident who is an entering freshmen student who is able to demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. Selection is based upon leadership, extracurricular activities, service to school or community, and special talents.

 

Honors Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering freshmen student to the university who is participating in the University Honors Program.

 

Dean's Scholarship

Applicant must be a non-resident freshmen student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and a GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering non-resident freshman student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and minimum 3.75 GPA.

 

Provost's Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering non-resident freshman student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and a high school GPA between 3.5 and 3.74.

 

Ram Transfer Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student who is able to demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Applicant must be an admitted freshman whose parent(s) and/or step-parent(s) graduated from the university. Missouri residents will receive $1,000 per academic year; non-Missouri residents will receive $2,000 per academic year.

 

A+ Recognition Scholarship

Applicant must be accepted the the university and have successfully completed Missouri's A+ Program. Applicant must have a minimum 23 ACT score (or equivalent combined SAT Reasoning critical reading and math score) and a minimum 3.25 high school GPA. Verification of A+ certification is required on official final high school transcript.
