Basil Boritzki Achievement Scholarship

Applicant must be an active member of Alpha Rho Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity.

 

Student Government Association Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school graduate of Watauga County. Applicants must submit an essay and transcript. Merit is considered primarily, followed by financial need (statement of financial need is encouraged).

 

John A. Walker Scholarship

Applicant must submit transcript. Selection is based upon GPA, standardized test scores, class rank, extracurricular activities, and evidence of leadership and maturity.

 

SSU Development Foundation Diversity Scholarship

Applicant cannot be a resident of Ohio or have attended high school in Ohio. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and preference is given to minorities.

 

Educational Talent Search Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Pike, Lawrence, or Scioto counties participating in the Educational Talent Search Program. A minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum 18 ACT score are required. Extracurricular activities and community involvement are considered.

Applicant must be degree-seeking, have a minimum of 45 credit hours, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and complete the FAFSA.

Applicant must be a from Scioto or Pike counties in Ohio, or Greenup County, Kentucky. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be recommended by teacher education faculty. Financial need is considered. FAFSA must be completed.

Applicant must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen enrolled in a master's degree program in library education at an ALA-accredited institution.
